I got 2 new postcards today that are definitely worth mentioning here
She got my card few days after I sent it but I got hers today.
I had completely forgotten the swap and didn’t expect it when I saw it in my mailbox today.
WOW I really have neglected my blog for quite the time now.
I’ve received a lot of great cards and it would take too long to mention them all here since I didn’t do it right away.
I got a package from my very sweet friend Becky in Michigan yesterday and she sent me some old postcards + stamps that she found on a fleamarket.
They are so nice, written and stamped, dated back in 1950′s
This stamp is now one of my favorites
2 other cards I received last week were from Daniel in Uruguay & from Venkat in India.

And from Venkat I got this handmade card of these beautiful waterfalls that I can’t remember the name of right now but he took the photo.
It was sent 28.3.10 so it took quite the time to travel to me
I’ve also been wondering how would be best to store the postcards in the best way so it is also easy to see both front and back of the cards because often is the backside just as interesting.
I found this great thread on the postcrossing forum and decided to try it out.
This is how they are stored now, in a small shoebox
This is the first page I’ve done, it’s going to take a while to put all the postcards on the sheets.
This is a great way to keep the cards from scratching, bending and you can decorate the sheets!

I found 2 postcards in my mailbox yesterday!
Juha in Finland sent me this amazing card of the moomin dad, great for my collection; I have 5 moomin cards now
Then I got one from Damien who sent me this nice multiview card from his hometown.
I still havent finished Patrik’s cardigan with the tractors, even though I only have few more rounds to go.
Hopefully I’ll get my knitting mojo back soon because I have many projects I want to start on!
I found some great postcards in my mailbox yesterday

2 from South Africa, showing Johannesburg & Robben island.
Emi in Poland sent me a great card from Warsaw showing a street from the Old town which is on the UNESCO list.
From Hong Kong I got a beautiful year of the tiger card, with a year of the tiger stamp too!
The cows I got from Hollan, great view of the cows on a field.
And last but not least cards from Taiwan and China are there in the middle
A week ago I started knitting a cardigan for Patrik, he loves cars and everything that has wheels and I got a great pattern of a cardigan with tractors that I’m knitting for him.

I decided to have a "heaven blue" color on it, great for the summer.

I just learned knitting 2 sleeves at 1 with the macig loop method and I love it, takes less time and the sleeves are identical.
To write more about my son, he turned 4 years old yesterday and on Sunday we had his friends over and then some relatives too, he chose a neon pink candles on his cake that looked great with the frosting
