The small dot to the left in this picture is the Island Eldey, it lays at the south coast of Iceland.
This photo I took in 2007 when I visited Reykjanes peninsula
About 30.000 pairs of the Northern Gannet breed in Iceland, there of are ~16.000 in Eldey.
When a group of people got a permission to plant webcameras in Eldey so it would be possible to
watch the Gannets colony that lives there I was so very thrilled.
The northern Gannet lay egg in the beginning of April, so soon the party will start
